Jed Shura, a Minneapolis based writer and producer of experimental music & outdoor explorer. His music spans progressive electronic to avant garde classical and microtonal. As a violinist, pianist, guitarist & vocalist, he has written for and performed in groups and ensembles and composed for independent projects and commissions for academic groups and professional ensembles performing and touring in North America and Europe. Formal music studies include the discipline of composition at University of South Florida and Bemidji State University, audio synthesis and sound programming under Mary Roberts at University of Minnesota.

o     Jed has written music for musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra, Rose Ensemble, Partch Quartet and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.
o     Performances of his work include recordings by Grammy nominated engineer John Scherf & has works available through Gratton Publishing.
